“I have been riding with and a customer of Wichita Riding Academy for over 20 years now and it is one of my favorite places to be. They take amazing care of my horse that I board there and provide an array of programs for riders of all abilities and ages. Facilities are great- indoor arena, outdoor arena, turnout pens, wash stalls, tack lockers, etc and all are very well taken care of. Cheryl is very knowledgeable and a wonderful horse women. Growing up spending my time here has taught me how to work for what I want in life. ”

“We love Wichita riding academy my daughter loves animals had been bugging me for about a year that she wanted to learn how to ride. I checked out several places and we chose WRA. Number one reason is they put safety above all else 2nd they offer so much more than just riding it’s a great place for birthday parties they also have a program that teaches kids responsibility and what it’s like to have a job. The staff at WRA are fabulous. We couldn’t be happier anywhere else!! ”

“Great place to stop for our overnight! Lovely hosts and very accommodating. I appreciated the large corral to keep all 3 horses together with plenty of moving space. Very nice facility. I would take lessons here if I lived close by!”

“Wonderful place for learning to ride. If overall safety and quality of instruction are high on your list this is the place for you. Weather you have never ridden a horse before or have been riding for years WRA has it all. My 3 year old loved her lead ride on “Bucky” and cant wait to graduate to the “big” horses! ”
“I am achieving things I thought not possible. Previously I had some nasty falls which required surgery so my confidence was at all time low and had not been on a horse for over a year....After each lesson I feel more confident and have skills I am building on.
For the first time I actually feel that I am learning to ride a horse and not just a passenger.
I have also watched as the instructors work with children and they take great care in instruction and safety.”

“Look no further! WRA is hands-down the BEST horse riding facility in the Wichita area. I was born and raised in Wichita and more-or-less grew up at WRA under Cheryl’s instruction. I started riding at WRA at age 8, learning the basics of riding, going up through the competition ranks, continuing all through high school and beyond. All their horses are provided the absolute best care and safety is always of the highest priority. This place teaches students not only how to ride a horse, but all aspects of horsemanship, equine care, responsibility, determination and hard work. And most importantly, WRA makes sure everyone is having a blast.”
