What to Wear for Riding Lessons
(Helmets and boots are available to rent via our online booking system.)
For safety and comfort, all riders must wear long pants (jeans, leggings, breeches, or jodhpurs are all great options). Please, no ski pants.
Riders also need to wear heeled boots with a flat sole and a 1" heel.
Helmets are required.
You’re also welcome to bring your own gear—just make sure helmets are equestrian-approved (no bike helmets, please).
Helmets and boots are available to rent via our online booking system.
Need gear? Our on-site retail store, Air Capital Tack, carries everything you need to ride from helmets and boots to breeches and so much more!
Rider Requirements
To ensure the safety of both horse and rider, all participants must be at least 4 years old and weigh no more than 220 lbs.
Visitors & Guests
We love welcoming parents, family members, and friends to the barn! To help keep everyone—human and horse—safe, please keep the following in mind during your visit:
-
Silence cell phones or devices that may make sudden or loud noises.
-
Stay with a staff member if you'd like to look around—no solo exploring, please! We'd be happy to schedule a tour.
-
During lessons, please enjoy from our designated viewing area and avoid offering instructions or feedback to riders.
-
When visiting, we recommend wearing closed-toed shoes and long pants—barn life can get messy!
-
No running or sudden movements near the horses. Little ones needing space to play are welcome to use our playground.
-
Please do not enter or open any stalls, paddocks, or pastures unless you own the horse.
-
As much as we love dogs, for safety reasons, please leave pets at home.
Thanks for helping us keep WRA a fun and safe place for everyone!
