Come ride with us and have some fun! Our goal is for students to be safe, have fun and learn about horses.
Sessions are geared towards riders ages. Sessions will have two activities each day: riding and an educational session. Every week will have a variety of activities so kids attending more than one session will not necessarily be doing the same things each week. Students ride a minimum of one hour. Ages 4-7 may have a slightly shorter riding time. Students do hands-on care with the horses: grooming, saddling, longeing, feeding and care of the equine environment. The detail to which they are involved will depend on the age and skill level of the class.
- Class size is limited, so please enroll early
- Full payment is required to hold a place for your rider
- Riders must wear long pants, boots with a smooth sole and a minimum of 2" heel
- Hard hats are provided, some boots are available
- Vending machines are available
- Full day sessions tudents must bring their own lunch
- We recommend you bring water and sun block
- We will ride outside; however, we have an indoor arena in case of inclement weather
- We require a signed release form (you can download one from this website)

RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Please note space is limited and only reserved with payment
- This is an outdoor activity
- Riding is done outside in the sun
- Kids should come with a bottle of water, sun block, dressed for the weather that day
- Indoor arena will be used during inclement weather
- Candy and soda machines are available for 50¢ and 60¢
- A completed release form is required to participate
- We provide ASTM/SEI hard hats
- Students will not be allowed to ride in bicycle helmets or any other unapproved helmets
- Students not wishing to wear community helmets should purchase an ASTM/SEI approved helmet. These can be purchased at Tractor Supply Company.
- Boots with a minimum of 2" heel and a thin, smooth sole are required to ride. NO HIKING, SNOW, RAIN, FASHION-TYPE boots are allowed. This is for your child's safety.
- Long pants reaching the child's ankles are required
- We recommend shirts with sleeves
- Parents and siblings are welcome to stay and watch. They will not be allowed to interact with the horses unless enrolled in a session.
- Please arrive 10-15 minutes early each day
- Students picked up an hour or more late will be charged
- REFUND POLICY: Students canceling from sessions that have been filled will only be issued a 50% refund. Fees can be transferred to other classes or lessons at WRA.
